AWARD WINNING FILMMAKER Yvette Farmer is a WRITER & PRODUCER.

I write TV pilots and short scripts placing finalist & nominated for awards in international script competitions. I also write sketch comedy since taking classes at The Groundlings Theatre School in Los Angeles.

I’m a script reader for the Female Voices Rock Film Festival in New York & Atlanta Film Festival, US and a Programme Advisor for the Margate Film Festival, UK.

I’ve produced commercials for broadcast, streamers and cinema in London, Berlin & Los Angeles.

I’ve shadowed TV directors on high end period dramas, sitcoms & continuous/ procedural drama sets (Hulu / ITV, BET / CBS, Paramount & BBC) in UK & US.

My latest short film ‘X Anniversary’, which I also directed, won awards for Best Actor + Best Cinematography on the international festival circuit.

I love coming of age / becoming yourself adventures and supernatural thrillers & comedies.
